Neuman "Peter" W. "Peter" Archibald

Neuman "Peter" W. Archibald, age 87, of Lyndeborough, NH, passed away on July 7, 2025 after a brief illness. He was the son of Willard "Archie" and Erma Archibald. He leaves behind his wife Susan Philbrick, a brother Willard Archibald, Jr. and his four children: Elizabeth Dean, Lucinda Ziegler, and David Archibald, who all reside in Alaska, and James Archibald, residing in Lyndeborough, NH. He is also survived by several grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Peter grew up in Mont Vernon, NH and lived there for over 50 years. He moved to Alaska where he lived for 10 years, before returning to New Hampshire for the remainder of his life. In his childhood, he always had a horse and developed an affection for horses. When he settled in Lyndeborough, he was able to renew that affection for horses alongside his wife Susan, who is an avid horse enthusiast.

Peter graduated from Milford High School in 1956 and later served in the New Hampshire Army National Guard. He worked at Hitchiners Manufacturing Co. for many years as well as a well drilling company while in Alaska and then for many more years in NH.
