Neva Rigney Curtis, 91, of Maceo passed away Saturday, June 29, 2024, at Heartland Villa in Lewisport. The Monticello, Kentucky native was born July 28, 1932, to the late Con Rigney and Dora Sexton Rigney. Neva retired from the Owensboro City School System. She attended Mt. Zion Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Philpot.
In addition to her parents, Neva also was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Curtis in 1993.
Those left to cherish her memory include her four children, Connie (Bob) Zimmerman of Owensboro, Mike (Karen) Curtis of Bowling Green, Dale Curtis (Debbie) of Georgia, and Pam (Jeff) Russell of Hopkinsville; ten grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Owensboro Memorial Gardens.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Tiffany, Tasha, Wendy T., Tina, Wendy, and Hospice for their compassionate care.
