Rose-Neath Funeral Home - Southside - ShreveportGraveside services for Everett Wesley Curtis, Jr. "Junior" will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Greenwood Town Cemetery, 9144 Greenwood Cemetery Rd. in Greenwood, Louisiana. Officiating the service will be Pastor Ray Holman.
Junior was born February 11, 1962, in Orlando, Florida and passed away on Thursday, February 12, 2026, in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Junior was a proud resident of Mooringsport, Louisiana, and spent more than two decades working as an industrial tire technician—a craft he mastered with dedication and skill. His commitment to his work earned him an outstanding achievement award, recognizing him as the best tire technician in the Ark La Tex.
Outside of work, Junior found joy in the simple, rugged pleasures of life. He loved deer hunting, fishing, and mud riding in pickup trucks. He had a natural charm that made him easy to like, and he formed friendships everywhere he went. Known for his strong work ethic and easygoing spirit, Junior left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Junior is preceded in death by his father, Everett Curtis, and his grandparents. Left to cherish his memory are his children, Matthew Curtis, Brandon Curtis; mother, Theresa Curtis; and siblings, Keven Curtis and wife, Tracy, Samuel Curtis and wife, Marlisa, Tammy Curtis and husband, Heath, Carlita Raybon and husband, Brock, David Curtis and wife, Bonnie; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Honoring Junior as pallbearers will be Keven Curtis, David Curtis, Samuel Curtis, Heath Mathes, Brock Raybon, and Carlita Raybon.
The family would like to suggest that memorials may be sent to Dream Hunt Foundation, 3610 LA 3276, Stonewall, LA 71078; or Greenwood Town Cemetery, Mary Wark, P.O. Box 397, Greenwood, LA 71033.
