Funeral, 12 Noon, Friday, October 10, 2025, at Mount Peace Baptist Church, 1601 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., Raleigh. The Rev. Dr. J. Vincent Terry, Sr., Pastor, Officiating. Visitation, 11:30 to Noon, Friday, prior to the service. Interment, Carolina Biblical Gardens, Raleigh. Public viewing, 12 Noon to 8 PM, Thursday, October 9, 2025, at the funeral home.
Survivors; son; Raeshawn Grimes; parents, Vernon Jr. and Patricia Fox Grimes; sisters, Camisha Grimes and Latoya Grimes; brothers, Derrick Grimes, Junior Grimes, Quintin Riggins (Wendy) and Tony Wright; 18 nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
