Nicholas Joseph Angelicola

Nicholas Joseph Angelicola, age 72, of Ansonia entered into rest on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Griffin Hospital in Derby. Nicholas was born in Bridgeport on February 11, 1951, son of the late Nicholas and Josephine (Grabiec) Angelicola, and lived in Ansonia for 45 years
He worked with his father and brother at Nick's Flying A in Stratford, and he built and raced cars at the Dover Dragstrip. Nick later retired from Napoli Motors. He was an avid Yankees and Giants fan and loved watching his grandsons play football and baseball.
He is the beloved father of Lynn Schuchmann and her husband John, and Nicole Angelicola, and cherished grandfather of John and Mason Schuchmann. Nick also leaves his brother, John Angelicola and his wife Cindy, sisters Debbie Edo and her husband Reggie, and Diane Zelinsky and her husband Vinny, and his step-mother Rose Angelicola.
The Riverview Funeral Home, 390 river road, Shelton has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements, which will be announced at a future time.
