Nicholas J. Beckrich, "Nick", age 56, of Shakopee, MN, passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Shakopee.

Nick was born on December 31, 1968, in Shakopee, the son of Harold and Marie (Anderson) Beckrich. For several years he helped out at the Scott County Library.

Nick loved watching television, especially Friends, Days of Our Lives, and Big Bang Theory. He also enjoyed movies and had an extensive DVD collection. He would grab a Coke or Mountain Dew, and a few snacks, and watch for hours. He also enjoyed taking trips, with his brother Steve and niece Stephanie, to Target and Valleyfair. It was the simple things in life that made Nick happy - like winding down for the night with his favorite kitty Bowie in his lap, or enjoying a hot fudge sundae from Dairy Queen. Nick also cherished spending time with family and friends.

Survivors include his brothers, Bill (Deb), and Dave; sister-in-law, Colleen Beckrich; special nieces and nephews, "Brother" Bob (Kara) Beckrich, Melissa (Mike) Breeggemann, Mike Beckrich, and Jen (Thomas) Boggs, Rose, Nate Beckrich (Tayler), Danny Beckrich, Sarah (Jeremy) Behrend, Timmy Beckrich, Jaicie Beckrich, and Jayden Beckrich, Kate Beckrich, and Kim Beckrich, Stephanie "Baby" (Reid) Ravnholdt; many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Marie; sisters, Becky (Mark) Pint, and Margie Beckrich; brothers, Bob and Steve Beckrich; niece, Christina Beckrich.

All services will be held at McNearney-Schmidt Funeral and Cremation, 1220 3rd Ave. East, Shakopee, MN 55379: Visitation Thursday, September 25, 2025, from 12-2 PM, followed by a Funeral Service at 2:00 PM. Following interment at Valley Cemetery in Shakopee, all are welcome for a continued Celebration of Nick's Life at at the Shakopee V.F.W. Nick will be laid to rest between his parents, Harold and Marie. **In Nick's memory, please wear a graphic t-shirt with your favorite superhero, band, or movie/TV show on it.
