Nicholas Robert Ekren

Nick was one of my 1st friends in kindergarten...grew up at Neely. I heard a few years ago he passed and I was just thinking about him. Always a kind person.

All these years have passed big brother without you. I love and miss you daily.

4 months you're gone. It's unreal. Life is going on everyday and it makes me sad you're not here. I miss you everyday. I love you brother.

Nick, I will always remember your smile. I know you would have done anything for me. When I think of you, I see the little blonde hair, blue eye boy riding the big wheel up and down the driveway. Then I remember you growing up, and you gave me my first grandchild. I remember standing next to you at your wedding, feeling so proud. I remember holding your hand when you were sick, you cried from the pain, I cried along with you. I know you're not hurting anymore. I find comfort in that. Part of my heart died the day you left us. I have always been proud to be your mother. Until we meet again son.
