Nicholas Gruska Obituary
Nick was born February 19, 1983 to Edward J. and Jennie L. Gruska in Akron, OH and was an Akron area resident his entire life. He was a 2001 graduate of Garfield High School where he was a starting center for the Garfield Rams. Nick was awarded All City Honors his Senior Year. He received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the University of Akron in 2006. He was employed by American Hospitality Group.
Preceded in death by grandparents Jack and Janet Gruska and Melva Fish. In addition to his parents, Nick is survived by daughter, Emma Gruska, sister Kelly (Ken) Gruska-Hoyt, brother Christopher (Nicol) Gruska, niece Anna Gruska, nephews Christopher Jr., Jax and Jonathan Gruska. Also many aunts, uncles and cousins.
B was an avid coaster rider at Cedar Point. He loved all Cleveland sports teams and Notre Dame. Go Irish!
Cremation has taken place and a Celebration of his Life is planned for this spring for family and close friends.
