Nicholas M. Leonor, born June 29, 2011, in Somers Point, N.J., passed away Friday, September 19th, at home due to a seizure disorder. Although his life was taken from us way too soon he was still able to leave a lasting impression on everyone that was fortunate to have known him. Nicky had a smile that could light up a room and he was always generous and kind to everyone. Like many teens he took great pride in how he looked, often changing outfits several times until he found the perfect combo and would style his hair for what seemed like hours! He was a cologne connoisseur with a decent collection growing and he could tell you which one was for each different season. He also was an avid car guy who loved going to car shows or just driving around to car spot. He could tell you anything and everything about each specific car he thought was cool. Also like most kids his age he enjoyed his gaming time, especially with his friend Mathew. Nicky attended YALE school for autistic children where he thrived as a student. He was often on the honor roll and for his 8th grade graduation he was chosen "most friendly." He thoroughly enjoyed his years at YALE and was looking forward to being in high school. He is survived by his mother, Jackie Rock and father, Juan Leonor. His siblings, Nolan, Virginia (Adrian), Jennifer (Paco) and Juan Jr (Kelly). His grandmothers, Linda Butler and Isabel Sabino. His aunts, Kristin Declementi, Erica Rock and Janet Dilks. His uncles, Manny Leonor (Marta) and Carlos Leonor. His cousins, Kaylee Johnson (Sebastian) Frankie Declementi (Bella), Jack Johnson, Charlie Leonor and Kim Dilks. He is also survived by his nephews, Eidan, Jaziel, and Elijah; and nieces, Luna, Aylani and Eiliana.
Visitation will be September 29, 2025, from 10 to 11 a.m., with a service to begin at 11 a.m., at Wimberg Funeral Home, 400 Liverpool Ave Egg Harbor City NJ, 08215. Burial will be private at Germania Cemetery. For directions and condolences, please visit Wimbergfuneralhome.com.
