Nicholas R. McConnell, affectionately known as "Nick," was born on October 26, 1981, in Hamilton, Ohio. He departed this life on January 16, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Nick graduated from Ross High School and built a career spanning ten years at Close Loop in Hebron, Kentucky. He was known for his adventurous spirit and loving personality, which made him truly one of a kind. As the beloved baby of his family, he filled their lives with joy and laughter.
Nick was a devoted partner to Holly Harp and a proud father to Calvin and Anna Belle. He shared a close bond with his sister Carrie (Tim) Stone and was a beloved son-in-law to Samuel and Carol Harp. Nick was also a caring uncle, cherished by many nieces and nephews, including Nikki, Heather (Adam), TJ, Caden, Lexi, Brooklyn, Kintin, Ethan, Samuel, Jake, Elizabeth, Emily, Dave, Amanda, and Angel.
One of Nick's proudest accomplishments was his family, and his love for them was evident to all who knew him. He often reminisced about bear hunting with his father in Nova Scotia, where he harvested a remarkable black bear—a testament to his adventurous nature. Nick created countless memories through family trips to Mammoth Cave, fun outings to Kings Island, and camping adventures, weaving a rich tapestry of experiences that will be cherished forever.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jackie and Carol McConnell, and his brother Jeff McConnell. Their memories, along with his adventurous spirit and love for life, will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the pleasure of knowing him.
Visitation for Nicholas R. McConnell will take place on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, from 12 PM to 1:30 PM at Vitt, Stermer & Anderson Funeral Home Delhi, located at 4619 Delhi Pike, Cincinnati, Ohio, 45238. A funeral service will follow at 1:30 PM, concluding with interment at St. Joseph New Cemetery.
