Nicholas Andrew Paris, born August 2, 1980, in Chadron, Nebraska, was called to his heavenly home August 4, 2025.
Nick was the epitome of a devoted father. Being Abbey's daddy was a role he considered the most significant in his life. He lived it with emotion, devotion, excitement, and passion for his "little peanut". Nick was hands on in every aspect. They spent hours in the kitchen making their famous spaghetti and meatballs or opting to go out for sushi instead. They excitedly donned their best every year to attend the annual "father and daughter dance". Nick spent many hours on a school bus as a parent helper for Abbey's school field trips. In the summer, you would find them swimming, golfing, bike riding or going for walks. Winter temperatures kept them busy at the local bowling alley or decorating their home walls with colorings and drawings. Their bond was an exemplary example of a father and daughter special bond. He loved her beyond words.
Nick, "Nickel Pickle", as he was affectionally known by many, was a force to be reckoned with.
He lived life to the fullest with his faith in God as his number one guiding force. He was only too happy to share his favorite Bible verse of Luke 8:50, "Don't be afraid; just believe". He was an active member of Life Fellowship Church in Fort Morgan. Nick especially enjoyed family traditional Thanksgiving dinners, game nights, and the men's church groups.
Nick's passion for music was highlighted by his ability to name any song from almost any era and genre. He penned and performed many original songs with his vocals in various local bands. Nick was known to perform with Black Rose, Foresight, Last Tragedy, Whiskey River Boys, and Cure for Colors. His love for The Beatles was evident in naming his daughter, Abbey Michelle for Abbey Road and her aunt, Amy Michelle, and the famous Beatle song, Michelle.
Golf was more than a hobby; it was a lifestyle. He only dressed in gentlemen's golf attire and his clubs shined and sparkled in the sun. He loved golfing with his Aunt Karen, Uncle Ben and buddy, Jason whenever he could. Nick attained the ultimate golfer's dream, "Hole in One" at Mariana Butte August 4, 2025.
Nick later took up painting using the Bob Ross technique. He also enjoyed sketching and gaming late at night with his friend, Lucas.
Nick is survived by: Daughter, Abbey Michelle, Mother and Stepfather, Patty and Tom Talbott, Brother, Damien (Tiara), Niece, Audry, Significant Other, Heather Smith, Father, Mark Paris (Carolyn), Uncles and Aunts: Ben Benzel (Karen), Roger Klein, Lance (Iris) Paris and Michael (Charlene) Paris
