Nicholas Ray-Rivera Obituary
Visitation with Nicholas' family will be held from 10 AM until Noon, on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at the Wiley Funeral Center, 420 Highway 377 East, in Granbury. A Celebration of Life service will begin at noon, Wednesday, at the funeral home. Burial will be private.
Nicholas was born on December 4, 2010, in Fayetteville, North Carolina. He enjoyed bowling, dancing, and all types of music. Nicholas will affectionately be remembered as a "hot mess" and a "Knucklehead" by those who loved him. Nicholas was always the life of any party he attended and was always able to light up any room he entered. Most of all, Nicholas will be remembered for addressing people special to him as "Hey Baby" and touching everyone he encountered in a special way.
Nicholas is survived by his loving & devoted mother, Katie Ray; sister, Madyson, 'May May' Ortega; sister, Alana "My Baby" Ortega; step-dad, Dan Ortega; step-dad, Marc Humphrey; grandparents, Casey and Jane Jones and Russ and Susan Ortega; aunts and uncles, Miles and Amber Carr, Billy and Rachel Ray, Jordan and Shania Kilcrease, Zane and Alexis Jones, Pablo and Jackie Vela, and Rusty and Ashley Ortega; and by numerous extended and beloved family, great uncles and aunts, cousins, and friends.
Nicholas was preceded in death by his grandmother, Dodie Faught and by his great-grandparents, Leon & Vickie Jones and 'Pa Pa' Willie Stone.
Nicholas was "his mother's whole world."
