Nicholas Riggs Obituary
Nicholas grew up in Niles, Michigan and attended Niles High School, graduating with honors in 2007. He later went on to work mainly in hospitality, but later landed a job at DHL, where he formed many lasting friendships and touched the lives of those around him.
Outside of work, Nicholas had a deep passion for playing the guitar, singing, writing music, and cooking. He was also famously known for being one of the most hilarious people you could ever meet, bringing laughter wherever he went.
Nicholas is survived by his mother, Tamara "Riggs" Sughayer, his siblings, Sydnee Sughayer, Hennah Sughayer, and Naseem Sughayer, as well as many other family members.
He is also survived by his paternal family including his grandparents Ron and Mary Ann Milbrath, his aunts and uncles; Jack (Tammy)
Milbrath, Gini (Mark) Ehnis, Shelly (Bruce) Broden, his half siblings Phil (Hailee) Milbrath, Vanessa (Harry) Larson, his nieces and nephew Harper and Eden Larson and Luke Milbrath, and numerous cousins.
Nicholas is preceded in death by his father Jon Milbrath.
He will be remembered for his infectious laughter, kind heart, and the joy he brought to everyone who knew him. He was deeply loved and will be forever greatly missed.
A celebration of life for Nicholas will be held during the third weekend of March. The time and location are to be determined and will be announced on Facebook during the first week of February.

Something made me look up his name after all these years. I knew Nick back in 2011 for a couple of months, met him at Earth's Country bar. I wasn't doing the best at that time, and he did make a good friend

I trained Nick at DHL when he went through Brokerage 101, such a good sense of humor and really smart. He picked up on everything very quickly, and he enjoyed the work he was doing. I wish we would have gotten around to hanging out like we talked about. You will be very missed!

I met Nick my first day at DHL. He trained me and was my go-to whenever I had questions. We rode the same bus to work every day and would chat about work and life along the way. It didn't take long to see that he was a good guy, had a great sense of humor, and was easy to talk to. Although I only knew him a short time, I was blessed to have known him. The bus rides are a lot lonelier now, rest easy Nick.

Nick worked in the ECommerce sector under my supervision at DHL. Nick was hardworking, funny and intelligent. He was a problem solver and always focused on getting things done, no matter what was needed. He will be missed for his dedication to his job and for his witty demeanor.
