Nicholas Swinehart Obituary

GENEVA - Nicholas Swinehart, 23, of Walworth, passed away on October 6, 2025. Nicholas was born in Geneva, N.Y. on March 7, 2002.

Nicholas attended St. Francis/St. Stephen Elementary School and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Palmyra-Macedon High School. He was currently a Senior Airman serving our country with the United States Air Force. Nicholas was a talented violinist and enjoyed trap shooting. He also enjoyed reading and history. He loves Our Lord Jesus Christ and his family. If you knew Nicholas, you loved him. He would walk into a room, it would light up. He always gave one hundred percent to whatever he did. He accomplished much good in his too short life. ("truly a "good kid!") He loved and was much loved in return. He gave us so many wonderful memories and now rests in the arms of Our Lord Jesus Christ.

Nicholas is survived by his mother and stepfather, Mary A. and Robert P. Fiorito; maternal grandparents, Tom and Theresa Stincic; his aunt, Anne (Andrew) Prusinowski; Robert A. Fiorito "pops", his stepbrother, Anthony Fiorito; stepsister Corinna Fiorito; his biological father Michael Swinehart and half siblings as well as extended family and friends. He was predeceased by Linda L Fiorito, "Gramma", Aunt MaryAnne Kerwin and Uncle John McKeon.

Visitation will be held October 15, 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at White Chapel Funeral Home, 197 South St. Auburn. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 16 in St. Patrick's Church, 97 West Bayard St. Seneca Falls.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Nicholas may be made to St. Francis/St. Stephen School in Geneva, Beverly's Animal Shelter in Waterloo, or to a charity of one's choice.

I just want to say Nicholas will never be forgotten. I have known Nicholas since he was a tot. My Shirley baby sat Nicholas all they through graduation. He would call my wife Shirley and me Grandpa Dave. He was well behaved, good mannered, gentlemen, loved and do anything for you. My wife passed 2 yes. Ago and would have been broken hearted. He called me not to long ago and said said he would stop and visit me during Thanksgiving leave. Now it will be in memory. My thoughts and prayers to nicholas mom, Mary, step dad Robert which I never met who Nicholas was very proud of, grandparents Tom and Theresa Stincic, and the rest of his relatives and friends. He will be missed and had such a good life ahead of him. I WILL BE THINKING OF HIM EVERY DAY. Dave Dressing

Although I do not know you, my heart aches for all of you. It certainly sounds like Nicholas was content in his life and I thank him for his service to our country. May God's gentle hands meet you at the gates of heaven. RIP Nicholas.
