Nichole Brown, age 47, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 15, 2025, with family by her side, after a hard fight with a sudden illness. She was born April 12, 1978, in Dayton, Tennessee to Dalton and Linda (nee Mease) Brown. Nichole enjoyed taking road trips around the country and visiting different casinos. She had a creative, crafty side and was a lover of dogs. She loved watching crime documentaries and cooking competition shows. She loved tomatoes, cheesecake, and the color pink. She hated attention, but loved unique things that often garnered it, including her Fiat, scooters, "shapey" purses, and assortment of unique tattoos. Above all, she cherished her son and loved time spent with family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Left to celebrate Nichole's life are her son, Christopher Maertens; her significant other, Michael Yanochko; her brother, Dalton "JR" Brown (Sarah); her nephews, Kaylor and Kayden Brown; and many extended family and friends. Nichole is preceded in death by her parents.

The family will welcome friends from 12pm to 2pm on Thursday, October 23rd, 2025, at Waite Funeral Home located at 3300 Center Road in Brunswick. Interment will take place directly after at Hope Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Nichole's memory to the Vera Bradley Foundation for Breast Cancer. https://give.verabradley.org/give
