Nicholas "Nick" Lee Daugherty, age 33, passed away Saturday, June 14, 2025.
A memorial service to honor Nick's life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at Wells Funeral Home in Batesville, MS. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.
Nick was born on July 1, 1991 in Batesville, MS to Kimberly Renee Mills Pitcock and the late Michael Lynn Daugherty, Sr. He was a talented and dedicated process technician at United Solutions in Sardis, MS. Nick was known not only for his technical skills but also for his profound love for his family and the joy he found in spending time with his children.
Throughout his career, Nick showcased an exceptional talent for mechanical work. His knack for fixing anything that needed repair was a testament to his skills and passion as a mechanic.
The family he leaves behind includes his children, Austin Bright, Noah Daugherty, Millie Daugherty, and Mason Daugherty all of Batesville, MS; his parents, Britt and Kim Pitcock of Batesville, MS; two sisters, Amber Daugherty and Allison Daugherty both of Batesville, MS; his two brothers, Mike Daugherty, Jr. and Anthony Daugherty both of Batesville, MS; his maternal grandmother, Janet Mills of Batesville, MS, and his paternal grandmother, Bertie Beard of Batesville, MS.
Along with his father, he is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandfathers, Bud Daugherty and Bubba Mills.
Nick's laughter and fun-loving personality will be deeply missed by those fortunate enough to have known him.
