Nick Garcia

Nick Garcia, 56, of Baytown, passed away Monday, December 5, 2011 in Pasadena. He was born September 18, 1955 in Baytown, was a life-long resident of Baytown and attended Robert E. Lee High School. Nick was a loving son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew and friend who was beneficial to everyone who knew him. He was a crane operator for U S Steel and Saw Pipe and was an avid fisherman. Mr. Garcia was preceded in death by his father, Alfredo Garcia, Sr.; son, James Edward Garcia and an aunt, Stella Martinez. Survivors include his mother, Rita Garcia; sons, Bobby Wingate and his wife Michelle, Chad Garcia and his wife Monica, Kevin Wingate and his wife Kelli and Eric Garcia; grandchildren, Skyler Wingate, Brittney Wingate, Thomas James Garcia, Jesse James Garcia, KayLee Wingate, Kevin Wingate, Jr. and Clayton Rivers; brothers, Joe Henry Pacheco and Alfredo Garcia, Jr. and his wife Dolores; niece, LaRissa Yzquierdo; nephew Duane Garcia; great-nieces and great-nephews, Matthew Yzquierdo, Miranda Yzquierdo, John Garcia, Joseph Yzquierdo, Ava Garcia and Gigi Garcia and an aunt, Frances Herrera. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, December 9, 2011 with a memorial service to follow at 7:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Deacon Gonzalez officiating.
