Nick Matkovich Obituary
A Celebration of Nick's Life will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Meadowview Country Club in Owen from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
Nick was born on March 18, 1941, the son of Louie and Beulah (Dill) Matkovich in Willard, WI. He graduated from Greenwood High School in 1959 and was united in marriage to Bonnie Anderson in 1966.
Nick began his career in the workforce at a young age working for Laabs Cheese Factory, hauling can milk. He later took on a semi driving position for Auberg and Hansen then picked up trucks all over the United States for Galvin. He also fixed trucks for Master Industries. Nick worked hard on his parent's farm but later years he played hard.
Nick is survived by his wife of 57 years, Bonnie, as well as a son, Tracy (Rondi) of Holcombe; two grandsons: Dillon of Owen WI and Dalton of Eau Claire, WI; and many cousins.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
