Nicolas Claude Daher, a resident of Baton Bouge, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at the age of 56 after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born on October 2, 1968, to Claude G. Daher and Jacqueline Jreige Daher in Chekka, Lebanon. He was a contractor and stone fabricator. He was a member of the Cedars Heritage Club of Baton Rouge, Lebanese Forces of Louisiana, and parishioner of St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church.
Nicolas will be remembered for his love and dedication to his family and for the generosity and hospitality he showed to friends. He loved boiling crawfish and grilling at BBQs, for friends and family. He also enjoyed collecting Misbaha.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Jacqueline; his uncles, Antoine Daher and Nicolas Jreige; and his aunt, Montaha Jreige Kfoury.
Nicolas is survived by his wife of 28 years, Marleine Bou Haidar; his father, Claude; daughter, Jacqueline Daher; son, Claude Daher; sisters, Marie and Georgette; and brother, George Daher and his wife, Paula.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Friday, December 6, 2024, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway in Baton Rouge, followed by the Funeral Mass at 12:00 p.m. and a Mercy Dinner following the service at St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church on 18768 Jefferson Highway in Baton Rouge. A private entombment will be held later.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts can be made in Nicolas’s name to St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church.
