Nicholas Robert Morrison, Sr. was born on October 10, 1982 in Pine Ridge, SD to Orrie Morrison and Theresa Little Bear. Nicholas made his journey to the Spirit World on July 25, 2025 in Mission, SD.

Nicholas is survived by his parents, Orrie Morrison, Jr. and Theresa Little Bear; children, De'Aundre Morrison, Nickolas Morrison, Jr., Joseph Morrison, Iesha Morrison, Terrence Morrison, and Jeremiah Morrison; siblings, Benjamin (Tara) Little Bear, Eugene (Gina) Winters, James Winters, Sr., Alicia Little Bear, Jerrid Morrison, Jewel Morrison, and Orrie "Lil O" Morrison; aunts & uncles, Francene Shakespear of Ethete, WY, Orin (Liz) Morrison, Darlis (Rex) Crow, Robert Morrison, Lynette Morrison, and Curt Morrison all of Oglala, SD, and Martina Morrison of Chadron, NE; nieces, Chante Little Bear, Janess Little Bear, Shaylynn Little Bear, Cora Little Bear, Kiya Winters, Leah Winters, and Delilah Winters; nephews, David Winters, James Winters, Jr., Derek Winters, Brandon Winters, Lucas Winters, Jakobe Winters, and Jordan Winters; and special friend, Farrah Miner.

Nicholas was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Nicholas Little Bear, Sr. and Edith Garnette-Little Bear; and paternal grandparents, Orrie Morrison, Sr. and Christine Belt-Provost.
