Nicole "Coco" Sarita Lassere was born on April 2, 1988, to Tracey and Warren Lassere in Indianapolis, Indiana. Raised in Bremerton, Washington, Coco was known for her fun and upbeat personality. From an early age, she loved being captured in front of the camera and developed a passion for photography both in front of and behind the camera. She pursued a modeling career after graduating from Bremerton High School in 2006. Her portfolio and work will forever embody her beauty and talent.
Coco's faith was a cornerstone of her life. She was baptized at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church on January 30, 2011, and her deep, personal connection with God provided her with comfort and guidance throughout her journey. Her well-loved Bible, filled with highlights and notes, served as a source of inspiration and strength.
An avid dog lover, Coco rescued animals throughout her life and if she couldn't house a dog herself, she'd find a home for them. Her compassion extended beyond animals; she cherished the great outdoors, loved to travel, and found joy in dancing, watching classic films, and creating lasting memories with her family.
You could always count on her laugh, her listening ear, and a heart big enough to hold everyone she loved. She was the steady hand, the caring soul, the fierce protector and the soft place to land.
She built a quiet and fulfilling life with her longtime partner, John Cummings and their beloved dog Keto in Hillsboro, Oregon. Never missing a birthday, milestone or event, Coco loved showing up for her family. One of her greatest joys was being an aunt. She treated each niece and nephew like her own, pouring her heart into their lives, loving them individually and unconditionally.
Coco is preceded in death by her great-grandparents and her beloved dog, Prada. She is survived by her grandparents, parents, and her siblings: Anthony, Cecilia, Natasha, Christopher, Saide, Angel, Kerri, Wesley, Jalen, and Khloey, along with her cherished nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, and countless friends.
Coco will be remembered for her impeccable style, her unwavering love for family and friends, her sense of humor, and her larger-than-life presence. She was a beacon of love and joy, and her absence will be profoundly felt by all who knew her. As we celebrate her life, we hold onto the memories of her laughter, her kindness, and the indelible mark she left on our hearts.
Rest in peace, dear Coco. You will forever be loved and missed.
"Keep my soul, and deliver me;
Let me not be ashamed, for I put my trust in You."
