Nicole Michelle Shashoua

Nicole Michelle Shashoua, 43, of Atlanta, GA, peacefully passed away in her sleep Friday, September 23, 2022.
Funeral services for Nicole will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the Peachtree Corners Chapel of Crowell Brothers Funeral Homes & Crematory. Burial will follow at Peachtree Memorial Park, Peachtree Corners, GA. The family will gather on Friday, September 30, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Nicole was born May 24, 1979 in Atlanta, GA, to her beloved parents, Albert and Wendy Shashoua. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Helen and Aaron Shashoua and her maternal grandparents, Dr. Mabrey and Madge Black Miller.
Nicole was a member of North Atlanta Church of Christ.Nicole also had strong ties with her Jewish side and kept several Jewish traditions which she shared with her son Mikey. She was a singer and played music. She loved to write poetry, create crafts and was gifted artist. Nicole was a graduate of Atlanta International School Class of 1998 where she excelled both in the arts and sciences, being a top math student, spoke fluent French and was the top overall student. Nicole also attended Perimeter College and The Atlanta Art Institute.
Nicole was an unusually gifted singer and sang and wrote her own music. Nicole lived the last years of her life in the Atlanta Art-Space RailRoadEarth, where she collaborated with artists, musicians and event coordinators. She will be remembered in the
art community for her incredible uniqueness.
In addition to her parents, Albert and Wendy, Nicole is also survived by her beloved son, Michael Mark "Mikey" Shashoua-Haynes; brother and sister-in-law, Eric and Marguerite Shashoua; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
