Nicole Sie Obituary

Nicole Karena Sie (Willis) passed away in the city of Lake Forest, California on September 8, 2025 at the age of 49. She is survived by her sons Parker Sie and Ryan Edwards, her daughter Aleah Edwards, her brother Jason Willis, her half-sister Brenna Beasley, her father John Willis and her step-mother Patty Willis. Nicole was preceded in death by her mother Wanda Beasley.
Nicole was born in Los Angeles, California on September 1,1976. She spent her youth growing up in the Ozarks (Missouri) where she helped with the family business from a young age-famously learning to drive a bus at just 12 years old to transport tourists who came to canoe the local rivers. Her adventurous spirit and sense of responsibility began early.
She eventually moved and settled down permanently in Orange County, California where she enjoyed the sunny weather, mild climate and sandy beaches. Nicole completed her Associates Degree in Nursing at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, California in 2005 and recently received her Bachelors of Science degree from Grand Canyon University.
Nicole began her nursing career as an emergency room nurse at Hoag Memorial Hospital in Newport Beach, where she built deep and lasting friendships. She eventually moved to the ER at Hoag Hospital Irvine followed by jobs at Hoag Endoscopy Center in Irvine, Digestive Diseases Center in Laguna Hills, and The Hydration Room in Irvine. Nicole was known not only for her clinical skill but for her warmth, compassion, and the lasting impact she made on both her patients and colleagues.
Nicole loved being a nurse, but her true passion was being a mom. She poured her heart into raising her children and treasured every moment-whether it was a trip to the beach, a day at Disneyland, a weekend of camping, or a cozy night watching movies.
Nicole had a big heart and an even bigger love for animals. Over the years, her home was filled with a menagerie of pets, including two cats (Emma and Chloe), three dogs (Chanel, Lilo, and Colson), a micro-mini pig (Bacon), a goat, and a chinchilla named YoYo.
Nicole's outgoing nature and open mind endeared her to everyone she met. She was full of life, known for her infectious energy and fearless personality. A lover of music, Nicole's playlists ranged from heavy metal to EDM, and she never missed a chance to sing her heart out at karaoke. She had a passion for working out and enjoyed all things that increased her heart rate. A self-proclaimed adrenaline junkie, she enjoyed snowboarding, jet skiing, riding ATV's, horror movies, Halloween, and riding her Vespa.
Nicole touched the lives of many. Her openness, loyalty, and unforgettable sense of fun left a mark on everyone who knew her. She will be deeply missed by her family, her friends, her nursing colleagues, and the many people whose lives she helped heal along the way.
Flower donations are welcome, but her family asks that you consider donating to the SAFE Project https://www.safeproject.us/memorial/ in Nicole's honor.
A memorial service will be held at Rancho San Clemente Park at 150 Calle Aguila, San Clemente, CA 92672 on Saturday October 25, 2025 at 10:00 AM, where friends and family will gather to celebrate a life lived full of love.
