Nicole is survived by her children, Gus and Olivia Laslett, her mother, Beverly Wells, her siblings, Michelle (Richard) Bluth, Scott (Elise) Wells, Cory (Tony) DeBellis, Garry (Ada) Wells, as well as her children's father, Gus Laslett. She is preceded in death by her beloved father, Garry and her nephew, Richie.
Born on August 27, 1976 in Detroit, Michigan, Nicole was the youngest of her siblings and spent her life surrounded by family and friends. She spent many years working in the hospitality industry and was known to her patrons to be incredibly caring, kind, and friendly.
Nicole was an avid lover of music and was known to have a beautiful singing voice. She was a passionate and voracious reader and a lover of animals.
Above all, Nicole was happiest spending time with her family, playing games together, joking, and filling the room with laughter.
Visiting will be held at Charles R. Step funeral home in Redford, Michigan on Sunday, June 29 from 1pm-7pm. A funeral service for Nicole will take place the next day on Monday, June 30th at 10am. To plant a beautiful memorial tree in memory of Nicole, please visit our Tree Store.
