Nigel George Willson passed through the veil on December 10, 2025 after a year long battle with Pancreatic Cancer.
Nigel was born on the 9th of June 1955 to Ray Gordon Willson and Muriel Lillian Hind in Durban, Natal South Africa.
He was the soul mate of Judy Francis Willson, whom he met in 1974 and married in 1981, and the Loving father of his son Michael-John Willson
Nigel graduated from the University of Natal, Durban, South Africa with a Degree in Economics and Economic History. He served in the South African Defense Force in 1974.
From 1976 to 1978 he served a honorable mission in South Africa where he influenced the lives of many.
In 1994, Nigel was truly honored to immigrate with his family to the United States of America. It was a momentous occasion as he and his family became American Citizens.
He went on to live the American dream, as well as helping his other family members to come to America, so that they to could enjoy the same blessings.
He ran a successful Cabinet Business becoming well know for his amazing designs and excellent product which he provided for his customers.
He had a great passion for Art and Music, playing the piano from a little boy. He loved creating, constantly designing, painting, drawing and most of all Sculpting out of wood. He loved to be busy and was always creating projects for himself to do around the house.
He had a great work ethic – one of his sayings was "Do today what you could do tomorrow"
He inspired many with his insight, humor and an ability to reach all kinds of people, he was a true example of "No Respecter Of Persons."
Most importantly, he was an amazing husband and a loving father to Michael-John encouraging him to do his best in all things.
In his Honor, his Funeral will be held on December 17th at 10am – services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 6719 Valynn Drive, Herriman, Utah
The Funeral Service will be streamed for those unable to attend in person.
