Robert Todd Drabner, 58, of
Salt Lake City, Utah passed away on January 17, 2026. He was a beloved father, son, and brother. He loved his family deeply and will be dearly missed.
Robert was born on May 15, 1967, to Robert Douglas Drabner and Sharon Martin Drabner in Salt Lake City. He married Margarita Martinez, gaining two bonus daughters, and fathering a son. Robert and Margarita later separated but remained close until his passing.
After high school, he started a career in sheet metal fabrication, excelling in the fabrication and welding industry. He eventually joined his father in the family fabrication company, Mountain High Industries, where they worked together until his father's illness. Robert was a creative builder, a skill he learned from his father and honed into his own unique talent. He had the ability to envision a design, draw it out, and then build his vision into existence.
As a teenager, he would often take apart broken electronics and machinery, study how it was connected to figure out how it worked, enabling him to then repair it.
Robert enjoyed fitness, working out daily with his son on equipment he and his father designed and built, camping, being outside tending to his yard and flower gardens, and watching sports, especially the Utah Jazz and New York Jets.
His Vision after his Parents passed was to get comfortable and happy enough again to have another chance to use and share his Inventions with the world and his Son. He wanted to complete his Father's work and finish what his Father started with his son, Alex.
He loved spending time with his family, finding joy in their accomplishments and growing families.
Robert was predeceased by his father and mother.
He is survived by his son Alexander Todd Drabner,
Salt Lake City, UT, bonus daughters Brittany Chatteron (Raymod Rivas), Kearns, UT, and Nichoal Arizmendi (Ivan), Great Falls, MT, sister Kimberly Drabner, Nashville, TN, nephew Anthony Ballamis, Salinas, CA, niece Sara Moroni, Nashville, TN, and seven grandchildren.
