Michael Dean Pratt

Michael Dean Pratt, age 37, resident of Trenton, Georgia and former resident of Layton, Utah, passed away on Saturday, January 24, 2026 at Hospice Care Center, Chattanooga, Tennessee.

Mr. Pratt, son of Donald Lorus Pratt and the late Kathy Lynne Hermansen Pratt, was born November 3, 1988 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He worked in Information Technology (IT) for over eight years. Mr. Pratt enjoyed the outdoors where he would camp; start bonfires; start fireworks; hike; and play golf. He also enjoyed going to concerts, particularly heavy metal. While at home, many would find him gaming; playing the piano; watching horror movies and cooking shows. He also enjoyed cooking for family and friends. Most of all, he always looked forward to spending quality time with his wife and sons. The family remembers him as a devoted husband; loving father and son – and one who would speak his mind.

Mr. Pratt is survived by his wife, Joanna Pratt; sons, Damian and Gabriel Pratt; father, Don Pratt; two sisters; Alicia Pratt Arnold and Tiffany (Matthew) Mulcock; brother, James (Leslie) Pratt; many other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 4226 North Hwy 341, Flintstone, Georgia on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, 10 am till 12 pm. A Celebration of Life will also be held at a later date in Salt Lake City, Utah.
