Nihad Mahfouz Hishmeh "Nicky" was born on January 10, 1952 in Ramallah Palestine to the late Mahfouz and Naimeh Hishmeh.
He is survived by his wife Heyam Hijazin Hishmeh and their 3 children Nancy (Thayer), Mahfouz and Jennifer (late husband Louis). His grandchildren Fayez, Rami and Juliana that he absolutely adored.
Surviving brothers Munir (Laila), Fuad (Sonia) and many nieces and nephews. He also has many great nieces and nephews that he loved with all his heart.
Preceded in death by Evelyn (Kanan), Abed (surviving - Sumaya), Diana (Ibrahim), and Samir (surviving - Laura).
Our dad was a man of integrity, courage and honor. He was well-respected and loved by all who knew him. Our dad always had an ear to listen, had a heart as big as the ocean and always saw the positive side of things. He never backed down from any obstacle life had thrown at him. Our dad was a determined man. He came to the United States in 1973. He was an entrepreneur who established many businesses from the ground up with his brothers. Our dad was always very encouraging and taught his kids to put their best foot forward and do their best in life. Our dad always said "you need God in your life, your family, your health, and your respect/dignity". His family was always his pride and joy.
The Hishmeh family would like to extend our deepest appreciation and gratitude for all the love and support we received during this difficult time. Although our dad is no longer with us, his legacy will live on in our hearts forever. We love you and will miss you Yaba. May you rest in peace.
