Nikki Marie Hutchinson

Nikki Marie Hutchinson of Batesville, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati. She was 76 years old. The daughter of Paul & Anna (DeBarr) Trnvasky was born in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania on June 18, 1949.

Throughout her life, Nikki volunteered for various programs, especially those geared to enrich the lives of children. As a faithful member of St. Louis Church, she enjoyed volunteering to teach the CCD classes for the youth. She worked in social work and then as a director for the 21st Century Scholarship program to help underprivileged kids go to college. Nikki was also a member of the Batesville Rotary Club. She was a very caring and loving, mother, teacher and friend.

She will be dearly missed by her daughter, Katie Kersey (Ben) and son, Michael Hutchinson (Amanda); her 7 grandchildren, Nolan Kersey, Ethan, Abby, Natalie, Alex, Dylian and Harper Hutchinson; and her brother Bob Trnvasky (Vickie).

A Memorial Mass will be 11:00am on Friday, January 9, 2026 at St. Louis Catholic Church in Batesville, IN. Following services, about noon, there will be a luncheon at The Shift Restaurant in Batesville, for a time of fellowship with friends and family.

Memorial contributions may be made to Phi Beta Psi for Cancer Research by bringing to the services or mailing them to Meyers Funeral Home, PO Box 202, Batesville, IN 47006.
