Nikolay Danilov Obituary
He was born on January 20, 1948, to Peter and Eugenia Danilov in Kiev, Ukraine.
He married Svetlana "Lana" Kazimirova Danilov on July 6, 1974. They immigrated to the United States in January 1978. Together, they owned and operated Nick and Lana's Shoe Repair and Alterations for 40 years in the Olathe community.
Nick enjoyed spending time and traveling with his family, biking, running, swimming, the mountains and the ocean, cruises, music, live concerts, movies, photography, reading, watching the Kansas City Chiefs, drinking lemon drop martinis and spoiling the family dog, Harlow.
Nikolay is survived by his loving wife, Svetlana, his children, Victoria Danilova and Rachel Thomas, and his grandchildren, Ashlee Danilova, Nikka Thomas and Lincoln Thomas.
He was preceded in death by his parents and by his son, Michael Tyler Nickolas Danilov in 2020.
