Mrs. Rikard was born on January 22, 1941, in Tunica, MS to the late J. T. and Etta Monette Mullen Winter. She was a longtime and faithful member of College Hill Heights Baptist Church where she had a deep love for her church and the church members felt like her family. Mrs. Rikard formerly worked at First National Bank of Oxford and The University of Mississippi's Registrar's Office before retiring as a clerk at the Lafayette County's Circuit Clerk's Office. Nina was well respected and loved by the Oxford community.

Along with spending time with her church family, Mrs. Rikard loved the time she shared with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was known for her sweet tooth and love of desserts and could always be found with her beloved Coke, always served over ice. Mrs. Rikard was preceded in death by her husband, James Phillip Rikard; and two sisters, Sarah Tuttle and Charlotte Bennett.

Mrs. Rikard is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Joan "Libby" Rikard of Oxford, MS; a son, Patrick Guy "Pat" Rikard (Kendall) of Oxford, MS; five grandchildren, Blake Rikard, Lacey Rikard, Peyton Camp (Christian), Kyle Rikard (Amy), and Georgia Bishop; and two great grandchildren, Maddux Camp and Samson Camp.

Memorial contributions in Mrs. Rikard's memory may be made to College Hill Heights Baptist Church, 147 County Road 102, Oxford, MS 38655.
