**Obituary for Nina Jean Sires**

Nina Jean Sires, born on May 4, 1932, in Picher, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on November 11, 2025, in Tacoma, Washington. She was a cherished mother, beloved wife, and talented artist, whose love for Jesus Christ glowed brightly in her daily interactions and artistic creations.

Nina was married to Donald R. Sires for 60 wonderful years, and together they built a loving family. She is survived by her daughters, Donna R. Lundy and Anna Deleta McCulley, and her son, Richard Gean Sires. Nina was also a devoted sister to Glenna R. Williams, and Gale Lewis. She was preceded in death by her parents, Glen and Myrtle Deleta Davidson, Ninola M. Schneidt her daughter and Jack Davidson her brother and is remembered fondly by those who knew and loved her.

Nina's career as an artist flourished in the fields of ceramics and painting, wherein she became known for her vibrant works. Her passion for art was matched only by her commitment to community, as she actively participated in the Art Association of Kent, Washington. A lively spirit, she was affectionately referred to as the "Queen Bee" of the Red Hats in Shelton, Washington, where she shared laughter and joy with her friends.

Nina's personality shone through in her love of Jesus Christ, and showed it BIG hugs and radiant smiles for all, making her a beloved figure in the life of everyone who crossed her path. Her interests included Western dancing, where she embraced life with enthusiasm and grace.

A memorial service celebrating Nina's life will be arranged by her family. In honor of her loving spirit, they invite all whose lives she touched to remember her in their hearts. Nina Jean Sires will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, kindness, and artistry will live on in the memories of those who knew her.
