Jaunita "Nita" Melton Boyle, beloved interior decorator and seamstress renowned for her exquisite custom drapes, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, April 25, 2024, surrounded by her husband and daughter, at the age of 80. She was born in Mount Pleasant, Texas on October 12, 1943, to parents John Lee Melton and Syble Hunter Melton.
Nita, one of nine siblings, was a beacon of warmth and generosity. Her passion for design and craftsmanship shone through her work, leaving an indelible mark on the homes and hearts of those she touched.
Beyond her professional talents, Nita was cherished for her boundless love and kindness. She possessed an unwavering dedication to helping others, always putting their needs before her own. Her selflessness and empathy endeared her to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Nita's legacy of love and compassion will live on in the countless lives she touched. She leaves behind a tapestry of memories woven with love, laughter, and kindness.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Bob Boyle; son, Bryan Boyle and his partner, Jim Simon; daughter, Kristi Boyle Johnson, and her husband, Rick Johnson; granddaughters, Ashley Theriot, and Sydnie Theriot Montgomery, and her husband, Regan Montgomery; grandson, Nolan Johnson; great-grandchildren: Raelynn Simmons, Seth James, and Ryder Montgomery; and her beloved dog, Sally Jane; as well as a multitude of relatives, friends, and grateful clients who will forever cherish her memory.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John Lee Melton and Syble Hunter Melton; brother, Raymond Melton; brother, Johnny Wayne Melton; and brother, Robert Lee Melton.
A celebration of Nita's life will be held on May 2, 2024, at 10AM, at McNutt Funeral Home located at 1703 Porter Road in Conroe, followed by a graveside service at Rosewood Cemetery in New Caney.
