Nita Magar

Bonita Jo "Nita" (Proctor) Magar, age 68, was born July 5, 1949 in DeKalb, Texas, the daughter of Milam "Chester" Proctor and Vera Evelyn (Tefteller) Proctor and had lived in Hugo since 1979. Her parents preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Sonya Magar and a brother, Fred Proctor. Nita married James "LV" Magar on March 10, 1973 in Nash, Texas. She was employed as a sales clerk for many years at City Drug of Hugo, OK. She also made and sold home décor and crafts. Nita enjoyed painting, genealogy, reading, cooking and quilting but most especially she enjoyed spending time with her family. She was always there for her family, ready to listen, understand, and offer words of wisdom. Nita was a faithful Christian and member of 4th and Jackson Church of Christ, Hugo. SURVIVORS INCLUDE: her husband, James "LV" Magar; two sons, Jim Magar of Hugo and Jay Magar (Tandy Low) of Hugo, OK; daughter, Becky Pate of Redland, OK; siblings, Brenda Giles of Texarkana, TX, Ola Harrison of Texarkana, TX, Roger Proctor of Bossier City, LA and Rehnae Proctor of Mobile, AL; grandchildren, Jaylee Magar, Karsyn Hammock, Chasity Grayson, Charlie DeLozier, Charity Alderman, Curstin Pate, Chase Oliver, Celeste Oliver, Chance Farley and Cutter Hendricks; thirteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews along with many other relatives and friends.
