Noah Boyette Obituary
Funeral service will be 3:00 pm Monday, April 28, at First Methodist Church in Buna with burial at Antioch Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 2:00 p.m. Monday prior to services.
Born October 20, 1935 in Elizabeth, Louisiana to Mattie R'Lou (Rodgers) and John Henry Boyette, he had lived in Buna 63 years and was a former teacher and baseball coach at Evadale and Buna.
He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Ann Boyette.
Survivors include a son, John Lee Boyette of Magnolia, TX; daughters, Sharon Ann Boyette-Wood & Jeff of Fort Garland, CO, and Sarah Elizabeth Brandt & Chester of Durango, CO; a sister, Phyllis Carroll of Ellizabeth, LA; grandchildren, Molly Whitbey, Garrett Whitbey, Thomas Henderson, Marci Machen, Wesley Boyette, and Tim Boyette; and great grandchildren, Mason Henderson and Charlie Machen.

Coach Boyette was a man that always was trying to lift everyone up that I can remember back in Evadale during the early 80´s. Very encouraging and maintained a smile most of the time. He had his stern moments and you would know that he meant business. He was proud to be there at Evadale and I recall one of his happiest moments when John came to Evadale to play basketball with us Rebels. Will be missed as much as he was loved. Coach, I just ask that you tell my brother Herman Jones up there in Heaven to take that box of Skoal out of his pocket and pour it out.

I was blessed to have Coach Boyette as a math teacher and a bus driver for a time. He was a fine man. I´m so sorry for your loss. My prayers for your family.
