Noah Caincross Obituary
Noah was born on December 14, 1933, in Charleston, West Virginia, to the late Reverend Charlie and Mary Caincross. He was raised in West Virginia alongside twelve siblings-seven brothers and five sisters. It was there that he met the love of his life, Rosella B. Harris, whom he married on June 21, 1952. Together, they shared 75 loving years of marriage.
Noah and Rosella were blessed with six children: four sons, Noah (Anetta) Caincross Jr., Charlie Caincross, the late Joseph Caincross, and Tony Allen (Danielle) Caincross; and two daughters, Cindy Scott and Connie Reed.
Noah worked as a lineman for Ford Motor Company for 36 years before retiring in 1988.
In addition to his children, Noah is remembered by nineteen grandchildren, twenty-five great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Rosella, who passed away on November 2, 2009, and by his son, Joseph, who passed away on June 28, 1983.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Nie Funeral Home – Carpenter Chapel, 2400 Carpenter Road, Ann Arbor, Michigan. A funeral service honoring Noah's life will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., with visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial at Highland Cemetery will follow the service.
