ROCKINGHAM -Noah McKinnley Herendon, 20, passed away on October 31, 2025 at FirstHealth Richmond Memorial Hospital. Noah was born on September 19, 2005 in Mt. Airy, NC.

Noah was a gentle and kind-hearted young man whose quiet warmth and loving nature touched everyone around him. His family and friends were his greatest joy, and he carried a deep love for those closest to him.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Jennifer and Ryan Sutton of Rockingham, NC, and his father, David Herendon of Georgia. He was the beloved grandson of Ray Milligan and great-grandson of Martha Milligan.

Left to cherish his memory are his siblings: Taylor Milligan (Anissa) of Wallace, SC; Jathan Herendon, Daisy Herendon, David R. Herendon, Oaklyn Sutton of Rockingham, NC; Bella Sutton of Salisbury, NC; and Ryan Sutton Jr. of Greensboro, NC. He is also remembered with love by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends who were like family.

Noah had a creative soul and found joy in simple and meaningful things - drawing, anime, Hello Kitty, video games, and spending time with his two cherished cats, Eren and Meekesa. He brought light, comfort, and laughter to those lucky enough to be part of his world.

Noah was preceded in death by his great-grandfather Liston Ray Milligan, Nana Gina Milligan, and Grandmother Judy Author.

Though his time here was far too short, Noah leaves behind a legacy of kindness, love, and gentle strength. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.

The Family will receive friends for visitation at Watson-King Funeral Home in Rockingham from 5:00pm-7:00 pm, Wednesday evening November 5, 2025.

A Celebration of Life honoring Noah will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025 from 2:00 pm at Watson-King Funeral Home Chapel in Rockingham. Burial will follow at Eastside Cemetery.

At other times, the family will receive visitors at the home of his great-grandmother, Martha Milligan, in Rockingham.
