David J. Miller

MILLER, David John - of Clio, age 55, passed away at his residence Tuesday, July 30, 2013. Memorial services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Bethany United Methodist Church, 353 E. Vienna Rd. in Clio. Rev. Dr. John Bailey officiating. Friends may call at the church on Friday from 2-8PM and on Saturday from 10AM until time of services at 11 AM. Contributions may be made to the family for a college fund for his grandchildren. David was born October 26, 1957 in Flint to Bill and Mavis (Boyd) Miller. He lived in the Clio area most of his life. He married Susan Short on October 3, 1993. Mr. Miller was co owner of Miller Communications with his wife. He was a member of the US Trotting Association and had a great love of horses. He enjoyed farming, horse racing and most of all, spending time with his grandchildren. Dave was always known to joke and tease with all the children in the family. Surviving are: 2 children, Korie (Brian) Wilson-Crawford of Gowen, Kyle (Jennifer) Wilson of Clio; 5 beloved grandchildren, Kylee, Kendall, Tyson, Khloe and Lennox; mother, Mavis Miller of Clio; siblings, Dennis (Karen) Miller of Davison, Diane Collins of Clio, Dan Miller of Davison; many special nieces and nephews.
