Obituary of Noah Sutton Sr.
Noah 'Dayton' Sutton, Sr., 87 years old, of Millville, NJ passed away peacefully on June 12, 2024 at Autumn Lake Health Care of Vineland during a brief stay with hospice services.
He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Sherry Sutton-Heiman and Charles N. Heiman, Jr. and grandson, Charles N. Heiman, III of Orlando, FL; son and daughter-in-law, Noah D. Sutton, Jr. and Lisa Sutton (Bracco) of Millville, NJ and sister-in-law, Rosita Filling (husband Richard Filling), of Granville Summit, Pa.
Dayton was predeceased by his loving wife of 54 years, Evelyn K. Sutton. He was also predeceased by his parents, Nellie and Ephriam Sutton; brother, Dewey Sutton; sisters, Genella Tomlin, Laura Mae White, Iva Lee Phillips, Joyce Gore and Martha Tomlinson.
Dayton enjoyed many of his working years at Owens Illinois/Kimble Glass where he met co-workers who became longtime friends after his retirement.
Dayton and his late wife enjoyed traveling in their motor home together and could often be found at the annual Blue Grass Festival in Woodstown. He continued his travels attending Blue Grass Festivals and followed local Blue Grass Bands, including one of his favorites 'Blue Octane'.
He will be missed dearly by his family and many friends.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 10am to 11am followed by funeral services at 11am at DeMarco-Luisi Funeral Home 2755 S. Lincoln Ave., Vineland. Burial will follow Greenwood Memorial Park, Millville. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Visiting Angels, 11 S. Main Street Elmer, NJ 09318, Inspira Health, 1505 W.
