Noah Thomas, Jr. lovingly known to many as "Scoochie," passed away at his home on May 2, 2025, at the age of 79. A lifelong resident of Beltsville, Maryland, Noah was a familiar and friendly face in the community. He was especially well known at the Beltsville 7-11, where he could often be found enjoying a cup of coffee and chatting with friends. He had a deep love for the outdoors, spending many days fishing and hunting, and above all, cherished time spent with his family, especially his great grandchildren.
Noah was survived by his wife of 34 years, Karen; his children Noah III “Joe” (Kim), David (Lori), Ronald Dean (Kim), Morgan (Tony) and Robert; his siblings, Charles, Nancy, Betty, Rose, Virginia, and Robert; his grandchildren, Adam, Danyelle, Matthew, Courtney. Lauren, Jacob, Isaiah, and Curtis; his great-grandchildren, Naomi, Cameron, Greyson, Cambria, Ava, Ella, Colton, and Maya. And many Nieces and Nephews. Noah was preceded in death by his wife of 26 years, Yvonne Cecelia; parents Noah Sr. and Vivian; and his siblings, Evelyn, Barbara, Thelma, Mary and Sue.
Noah’s deep love for his family and friends will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A viewing will be held on May 7, 2025, at Borgwardt Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
