Noble Allen Womble of Blanchard, Louisiana, went to be with his Lord on July 8, 2025, while resting peacefully at home. Born March 31,1944 in Shreveport, Louisiana, Noble was lovingly referred to as “Nobo" or “Bobo" by his family. After graduating from Fairpark High School, he worked at Stan's, a local record shop in downtown Shreveport. This began his amazing career in the music industry, where he helped promote albums for some of the most well-known artists and musicians ever heard. His walls were decorated with gold and platinum albums from the likes of Run-DMC, Foreigner, and Ice Cube, to name a few. He could often be heard (privately) singing songs from his favorite artist, Bob Seger, while relaxing in his living room recliner. He had a wonderful, deep baritone voice.
Noble's successes came not only from his ear for music but also from his amazing nature as the epitome of a people person. No matter the social status or ethnic background of whose company he was in, he quickly befriended everyone around. Noble had the best stories. He was great at shooting the sh… the breeze. His family and friends always enjoyed an opportunity to hear the tales of his travels.
Noble was a frequent golfer and an avid hunter, his walls decorated with the many trophies he had accumulated through the years. The trophies being reminders of the memories shared with good friends. Later he would lay down the guns in exchange for binoculars. He loved watching the deer feed in his backyard.
In retirement, Noble enjoyed working at The Real Pickle as a manager and later at Napa Auto Parts in Shreveport, both of which gave him opportunities to once again, meet new people and visit with friends. Later, he would enjoy having coffee and breakfast with friends at Cliff's in Blanchard.
His memory is cherished by his nephews, Donald Wayne Diffey and Douglas Allen Diffey of Houston, TX; his great nephews, Matt Sanders and wife Heidi, and Justin Sanders and wife Jennifer; his great-great nephew, Lleyton Sanders, and great-great niece Lily Sanders; and countless- maybe thousands of friends.
The family would like to thank St. Joseph Hospice and Point of Grace Medical Service for the comfort and care they provided, and Father Charles Glorioso for his friendship to Noble and for being his faithful guide in his Christian faith. Also, the family will be forever thankful for Mr. Tim Biles for the care and friendship he gave Noble the last several months.
Noble's wishes were to be cremated, and ashes returned to his land in Blanchard, Louisiana. There will be a memorial service at a later date for the family and close friends.
