Noe Garcia Obituary

The family of Noe Garcia Jr. is saddened to announce his passing on October 20, 2025, at the age of 70.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Maria, and his loving children: Anthony "Tony," Noe III (Migdalia), and Sandra Garcia. He was the proud grandfather of Kristina, Gabriel, Sophia, Mia, and Nora Garcia. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, sisters- and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and countless cousins across Michigan, Ohio, and Texas. Many of his friends called him Amigo and his circle of friendship was wide, including fellow truckers, billiard friends, neighbors, and especially his three closest friends whom he talked with daily, Erick, Ernie, and Little Man. He also leaves behind his loyal companion, his Exotic Bully Pit, "Sky."

Born in Ohio, Noe moved with his family to Detroit, Michigan at the age of five, though he always kept close ties to his Ohio roots. From an early age, he developed a love for motorcycles, a passion that would stay with him for life. He taught himself to drive a semi-truck and went on to build a successful career, first working for Holloway and Stacy Trucking, and eventually owning his own trucking company. After decades of hard work, he retired in 2022 but continued to work with Iott Contracting. A man of integrity, he was known as a dedicated, hardworking provider whose strong work ethic and great character guided his life.

In 1971, Noe met the love of his life, Maria, in Ohio. The two eloped when he was just 16 years old, beginning a beautiful journey together that lasted 54 years. They built their life and raised their family in Detroit, where Noe's greatest joy came from being with his children and grandchildren.

Noe's passions filled his days with joy-riding his Harleys, celebrating holidays with his family, spending time with his grandchildren, and feeding the birds and animals on his property. He loved playing pool, often competing in championship tournaments and team leagues, and was an active member of Dundee Sportsman, his local gun club. Known for his storytelling and his humble beginnings, he enjoyed taking scenic drives throughout Michigan, always finding time to stop and visit with friends and family.

To those who knew him, Noe will be remembered as a man who always put his family first. His childhood memories, his favorite Harley-Davidson, and the laughter he shared will live on in the hearts of those who loved him.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 26, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Solosy Funeral Home, Lincoln Park. Visitation will continue on Monday, October 27, 2025, at 10:00 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 11:00 AM, also at Solosy Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, South Rockwood.

Noe's life was full of love, laughter, and devotion to his family. Though he will be deeply missed, his legacy of hard work, love for the open road, and dedication to his family will never be forgotten.
