Noel Lopez Obituary
Noel Lopez, 62, a longtime resident of Rule, Texas, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2025. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am, Friday, December 5, 2025, at the Catholic Church in Haskell, Texas. Father John Peter Santhappan will be officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Rule Cemetery under the direction of Smith Family Funeral Homes, Haskell. A rosary is planned at 5:00pm at the funeral home, 304, N 2nd Street, Haskell, Texas.
Noel was born May 31, 1963 in Lamesa, Texas to Silberia (Barrera) and Fidel Lopez. He was happily married to Teresa Garcia Lopez from Rule, Texas for 24 years. He enjoyed mowing the grass on his John Deere mower, and loved to barbecue, work, he also loved his refreshments.
He is survived by his wife, Teresa Garcia Lopez; daughter, Cristina and husband Manuel Diaz of Rule, Texas; son, Noel Alfred Lopez Jr. and Rita Matias Lopez and grandchildren, Layla Lopez and Atalie, Lopez of San Angelo, Texas; daughter, Crystal Michelle Ramos, and grandchildren, Anthony Courvier, Ryland Munoz, Romon Munoz, of Oklahoma; daughter, Sarah Reynolds Lopez and husband Jay Ice from Oklahoma; brother, Oscar Lopez; sisters; Lucia Lopez Ogeda, Elva Lopez Guerra, and brother Margarito Lopez.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Fidel and Silberia Lopez; brothers; Fidel Lopez, Jr., Chon Lopez, Joe Lopez, Henry Lopez; and sister Crucita Lopez.
