Noel Adrian Roman. Age 63 born December 25, 1957 in New York City. Beloved husband to Iwona Wojciechowska Roman, son to the late Anigil Visbal and Adrian H. Roman. Brother to Patricia Roman, Rosa Marie Roman Aponte, Elizabeth Roman Brobst, Gabriel Berrios, Catherine Roman Ruperto, and Edgar Roman. Uncle to Praxedes Aponte Roman, Cecilia Aponte Roman, Tara Lynn Brobst White, Lisa Ann Brobst, Danielle Ruperto, Jordyn Ruperto, and Jonathan Ruperto. Friend, mentor, and teacher to many.
U.S Army Veteran - 1977 - 1985
With his military service taking him to different countries, it started a love of travel to see the sites and gain appreciation of different cultures.
Retirement from the NYCHA did not slow him down. It was only a page to turn to continue working in the field he enjoyed. He continued his education and began to teach what he had learned throughout his career. Never one to shy from giving his thoughts and expressing his feelings. He was pretty social and was known as quite the conversationalist. And he always found a way to make you laugh.
From an early age health and fitness was always a core passion. From exercising to gymnastics, it gave him joy to build mind and body. Eating right was just something he always saw and knew kept the body strong. Although never passing up from a cookie or two when they were present.
He will be missed by family, friends and all that knew him.
