Nola Ann Vigil

Nola Vigil, a radiant light in the lives of her family, was born on Saturday, May 3, 2025, and departed this world on Monday, May 12, 2025. Though her time with us was brief, she made an indelible impact on those who had the joy of knowing her.

She was preceded in death by her grandpa Jose D. Blanco, grandma Patricia L. Jones, uncle John E. Jones Jr., auntie Roberta Hutchinson, and cousin Brenden Donovan.

Nola is survived by her mother Siobhan Jones, father Elias Vigil, sister Ezri Deets, brother Jose Vigil, grandfather Joseph Jones, grandmother Margarita Vigil, great-grandmother Loraine Vigil, Ambrose Valdez (Emily), Christopher Valdez (Heather), Emiliano Anderson, Stephanie Donovan (Sean),Alex(Brandon), Rhiannon Jones (Enzo), Edward Blanco (Zoe), Cj Valdez, Hailee Valdez, Wyatt Jones, Giz Donovan, Ethan Valdez, Aiden Valdez, Josh Valdez, Sarah Donovan, Gwen Donovan, Ben Castro, Mason Donovan, and many other cousins and great uncles and great aunties.

Nola was cherished from the very moment of her birth, a precious gift to her parents, who hold dear the memories of her first cries and gentle presence. Her short time on earth was marked by her innate ability to bring joy to those around her, embodying the essence of a little sister. In her fleeting days, she reminded us of the purest forms of love and connection. Those who had the honor of holding Nola, even for a fleeting moment, will remember her playful spirit—she was known for her curious tendency to eat her fingers, a delightful quirk that brought smiles and laughter to her family. Nola’s life, though brief, was filled with love and joy. She leaves behind a legacy of the warmth that only a young soul could bring into this world. Her memory will forever be etched in the hearts of her loved ones, who will carry her spirit with them always.

Nola's Life Celebration will begin with a service on Friday, May 23, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Salazar Mortuary located at 400 Third St SW, 87104 followed by a graveside at Sunset Memorial Park located on 924 Menaul Blvd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87107. Family would like to invite everyone to the reception following the graveside at Salazar Mortuary Event Center.

Pallbearers will be Ambros Valdez, Joe Jones, Emiliano Anderson, and Adam Lucero.
