VICTORY MILLS - Nora "Connie" Brown, 95, a long-time resident of Victory Mills, N.Y., passed away at home on Sunday, August 24, 2025.
She was born on November 21, 1929, in Hudson Falls, N.Y. She was the wife of the late Robert Brown of Victory Mills and the daughter of William and Leona (Stockwell) Bushey of Fort Edward.
Connie alongside her husband Bob, owned and operated Brown's General Store in Victory Mills. Connie was also retired from the Continental Insurance Company in Glens Falls. She was also a lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Survivors include her son, William (Debra) Brown of Marysville, Ohio; three grandchildren, Michael, Sara and Kaitlin; seven great-grandchildren and three nephews, Thomas, Michael and Edward Bushey.
Her committal service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at the Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, N.Y., 12871.
Donations in her memory may be made to the Schuylerville United Methodist Church, 51 Church St, Schuylerville, N.Y., 12871.
