Nora Ann Phillips

Nora Ann Phillips, a beloved resident of Daingerfield, Texas, passed away peacefully on July 29, 2025, at the age of 82. She was born on September 3, 1942, and spent the majority of her life in the heart of East Texas. Nora was a graduate of Talco High School and a faithful member of the Daingerfield Church of Christ. She had a gentle spirit and a creative heart. She had a deep love for dolls and found joy in knitting tiny, beautiful dresses for them. Above all, she cherished her family and held them close to her heart. She is preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy Dunn and Tula Knighten, and her sister, Gera Lee Stowers. Left to honor her memory are her husband of 20 years, Howard Phillips; her children, Tony Phillips and wife Anna, and Lisa Escobar; her sister, Glenda Osburn; and her brother, Randy Roberson and wife Shirley. Nora also leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who will continue to carry her love and legacy forward. A private burial will take place at Daingerfield Cemetery under the direction of Horn-Nail-Haggard Funeral Home.
