Nora Faye Woodward

Nora Faye Woodward, born on September 25, 1945, in Sulphur, LA, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2026, in Rayne, LA.

She leaves behind a loving family, including her daughter Karen Wright; siblings, Arthur Guidry, Brenda Bertrand, and Johnny Guidry; as well as her cherished grandchildren, Roderick Benoit, Jr., Nikki Janise, Tricidy Parsley, and Blake Leger; and her stepchildren Timothy John Woodward and Tammie Hoffman.

Nora was a dedicated homemaker who poured her heart into her family, creating a warm and loving environment that will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Nora's life with a public viewing taking place at Miguez Funeral Home in Jennings on Thursday April 2, 2026, from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM, A funeral service will follow at Miguez Funeral Home at 12:30 PM, with burial immediately after the service in Greenwood Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Nora will be missed dearly but will live on in the hearts of those she touched.

Nora was preceded in death by her husband, Timothy Woodward; her first husband and father of her children, Sammy Wright; daughter, RoxAnn Leger, parents, Clifton and EllaMae Duhon; birth parents, Lester Rasmussen and Lorraine Guidry; and her siblings, Ricky Guidry, Loretta Wells, Evette Breaux, Sheila Guidry, Sandra Hearod, Byron Duhon, Dean Duhon.
