Norah Jennings Lynch

Norah Jennings Lynch of Brookfield passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on March 10, 2026. She was born in Fairfield, Connecticut on February 16, 1937, to Clifford Jennings and Margaret Tetlow Jennings.

Norah was a lifelong parishioner at Saint Marguerite Bourgeoys Catholic Church in Brookfield CT. Her church and her faith were the foundation for her life. Norah loved living at Candlewood Shores for 60+ years with the lake life and dear friendships. Norah graciously opened her home to generations of friends and family. Her house was the place to be for home cooked meals or late-night setback games. Norah was an artist, worked as a real estate agent, became a small business owner, enjoyed tennis, her time as an art teacher, and her many Great Danes. She was predeceased by her husband, Martin James Lynch.

She is survived by her three sons, Colby Lynch, Keane (Debbie) Lynch, and Myles (Lee) Lynch along with her five grandchildren, Courtney, Tyler, Ansley, Reagan, and Gavin.

A visitation will be held on Monday, March 16, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield, Connecticut. A memorial serviec for Norah will be celebrated during the visitation at 5:30PM.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Saint Marguerite Bourgeoys Catholic Church or Animal Welfare Society in New Milford.
