Janet Tremonte Obituary
1946 - 2026
Janet P. Tremonte, 79, of Brookfield, beloved wife of Edward Tremonte, Sr., died at Danbury Hospital on Sunday, February 22nd. She was born in Danbury on August 9, 1946, daughter of the late Edward Clayton and Helen Morgan Peck.
She was a graduate of Danbury High School, Class of 1964 and she attended Western Connecticut State University, where she met her beloved husband.
In addition to her husband of 59 years, Edward, Sr., she will be missed by her three children, Edward Tremonte Jr. (Joy), Jeffrey Tremonte (Pepe), and Michelle Bogartz (Adam); her grandchildren, Ashley Chobot (Christopher), Christopher Tremonte (Kate), Nina Tremonte, and Kaiya Bogartz; and one great-grandchild, Lorenzo Lucas Chobot.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Richard M. Peck, and Marilyn J. Peck.
The family will receive family and friends at the Brookfield Funeral Home, 786 Federal Road, Brookfield, on Saturday, February 28th, between the hours of 2:00 – 4:00pm, concluding with a funeral service.
Burial will take place privately in the spring.
